All accredited CE/CME programs listed below were created independently by third-party providers and follow the standards set forth in the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support/Integrity and Independence in Accredited Continuing Education, or other similar accrediting organizations. Responsibility and control over selection, content, faculty, educational materials, and venue for the educational programs belong solely to the providers and/or accreditors. Bayer does not provide any guidance regarding the content or faculty for any programs receiving funding.

Pediatric Hemophilia A: Early Factor VIII Use and Lifelong Treatment Planning

Recognize the clinical importance of early FVIII prophylaxis initiation in young pediatric patients with hemophilia A

Review the landscape of current pharmacologic therapies, including extended half-life (EHL) factor concentrates in improving long-term clinical outcomes in hemophilia
Apply the latest safety and efficacy data to support ongoing EHL FVIII prophylaxis in children and adolescents
Implement comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment plans that include physical therapy, psychosocial support, and family education
Adapt prophylactic regimens to address the variability in physical activity, psychosocial development, and treatment adherence commonly seen during adolescence
Develop individualized transition plans to ensure continuity of care from pediatric to adult service
